1. a cyber weapon, preferably a closerange one, say a blade or similar that is housed in a cyberarm and replace the knife...
2. a bit more life on the maps. maybe have some moveing NPC's (those drunkards and whatsnot thats spread around the map right now). give them some movement animations and make some doors that lead into darkness (spawnarea for these people) so that you can have say a person pop up from one of these doors and walk along a path to another one and then dissapear. 3. add the ability for a player to grab a 1 point civilan outfit in the gear list so that they look exactly like those civilians that are spread across the map right now. nothing as freaky as seeing a red spot on the radar but not knowing who the enemy is as you have only civilian looking people walking about... 4. maybe have the ability to holster a weapon, fits perfectly with 3. that way you definetly look like a civilian ![]() 5. this is the big one, add a cyberspace complete with doors, security guns and maybe even servbots that can be used as mobile weapons platforms ![]() when activated the person using it gets a vgui that lists all the stuff that can be controled and can then click one to initiate connection routines. unless he is the one that set the password on that device it will take some time (the fastjack implant will help here, maybe 25% less time taken). when in he gets a set of options he can do, like scan for other people present. if any person is connected and have a fastjack he will get a warning while the scan is running (fastjack gives a more direct connection to the signals going in and out) so that he can take actions (run away, disconnect totaly or fight back) when a person have been found he can be dumped (takes some time to get going) the connection can be scrambled (actions not takeing effect, maybe giving the wrong effect or actions that take time take longer time) or if the person located have a fastjack he can be zaped (basicly take damage, thats hte backside of using fastjack). on doors one can lock them to only open for one tema (or lock them totaly), alltho i think maybe one should add a small 1 point dooropener that bypass the lock for a limited time (takes time to use, just like hacking a terminal). cameras/guns can be aimed with mouse or left ot fire at people on auto and last but not least the servbot that can be controled around with the normal player controls and that have say a small electroshock device for selfdefense (atleast thats the orignial plan of the designer) and maybe a selfdestruct ability for when he gets into a group of people and/or the shocker isnt going to "cut" it ![]() just had to air all this so feel free to rip it apart (i think i have allready talked about 5. but still)... |

a bit shorter: recreate Silencer?
![]() i dont think that the points 2-5 would be good in public enemy. pe has a really fast gameplay, but with the 3. point it would be much slower.. -------------------- |

That´s the big problem with the old HL-Engine. Those suggestions would be too much for this old game... it´s nearly impossible to create a cyberspace like this. We reached the maximum memorylevel for PE, so we´re only able to include just a few new elements. Sorry. That´s also the main reason for us to start a new project for a new engine.

ah, didnt know you where starting with a new engine...
as for slowe game, i like them slow instead of the run and gun games of CS and its like whre reflexes count more then tactics (way mutch more at times). sure reflexes have its place but it should not be all it takes to save the day. CS is in many ways q1 deathmatch with a hint of teamplay where one man can rambo the map, with the cyberware i see more in this mod... |

erm... ok... please don´t missunderstand me. We´ll try to optimize PE, but we reached the technical limit... that´s all.

relax, i know all about the engines limits. your not the only mod that have had grand plans but hit the limits way to early...
