Hi, I'm new to these forums and I've just downloaded the game. This game is kickass and the most fun thing about it is the cooperative feeling. I can't tell u how many times my pistol ran outa ammo when a zombie was 2 feet away and then another player saves my ass by blasting its head off.

Anyway, I'm not sure if this topic has been discusses, I did a quick (but not thorough) search. To keep the "cooperative" feeling, wouldn't it be nice to have a syringe of some sort that carries the anti-serum? So instead of a player being doomed to be a zombie, he can call on a friend nearby to administer the cure. The anti serum should be unlimited but only works on players that are infected but have not yet turned. So what do you guys think?

To fatboy's reply: Yeah, I never thought about how it could be exploited when you fight Fred. But if you have a fixed number of shots, you'll eventually run out and it's gonna be back to square one. In my experience, whenever I drop a gun, I cannot pick that gun up again unless it's the same gun I dropped. Not sure if this is a bug for me or the game in general :/

yes I like that Idea, I myself was thinking about a antidote for the players that had turned but then didn;t say anything because i realised it would kill off the idea of being a zombie and trying to kill people.

but I DO like the idea of other players being able to administer a antidote to players that are "turning" so that they can be saved, i think thats a great idea and adds a lot towards the co-op standard of the game. (p.s. if your sat there thinking "whats the point, just become a zombie then kill a few marines and viola your a human again" if your given a antidote before you turn this would save a LOT of time and give you more time to do your missions)

This would also help for the co-op towards the missions aswell. because if people know that they can get an antidote while they are changing, they wont set of to do a mission on their own but more than likly get someone to go with them and work with them on getting the mission done

not sure about it being unlimited though, I think it should be a pick up that has so many shots (so that you dont just have 2 people attacking fred all the time and as soon as one of them starts to turn the other gives them an antidote)

There was a thread about this Nemisis but you just joined so you didn't see it. sad.gif Anyways they dedcided not to have an antidote becasue you could never reach it in time. But maybe in a future patch they could add an antidote. cool.gif

yeah the idea of reaching it in time proides the co-op idea u seeeeeee biggrin.gif cos then it gives u the idea that if you stay together then you can help each other out. so then in the end you end up trying to do missions with people along side you

yeah, great idea, but rather unlimited, have only a limited supply dotted around each map, make for more interesting scenarios; infected, gather team to go find the anti-zombiness, racing against time and other zombies tongue.gif would be kewl...

maybe you should have a level where some npc is infected, and you have like 15 min to find a crashed chopper that has an anidote, but you have a specific time to get it back before he turns. when he does, you lose level or something liek that.

Shhhhhh! I'll let you in a little secret guys... there IS a secret serum in the game.... its called THE BRIDGE.
you guessed it, want an antidote, go jump of a bridge, get run over by the tractor, or the tank.

Just like you can run to some far off location to go find the antidote, you can run and find a suitable place to kill yourself.

i think there should be an antidote but make it so you haveto spend like 3 or 4 points into it *new skill* and have like a slight re use time on it ....just a thoaght i think more should be done with the skill system tongue.gif
