I'm suggesting adding entities that allow mappers to have zombies prespawned and to make "special" zombies that can do certain things by using ai_scripted_sequences. Like for instance you can place zombies to spawn in a certain area and then when triggered have them move in a certain direction. As an example: lets have the player walk into an empty building and when they get a certain distance in the zombies spawn outside the windows and doors and when they get there they trigger the windows and doors to break and they enter the room to devour the player. Of course this wouldn't be so fun if you didn't offer a way to safety like having the player find a ladder or set off a propane explosion to blow a way out or something. The best I can do is have a trigger to make spawns in a certain area to appear or disappear and they wont move unless a player gets close enough to them for the zombie to chase, I wanna be able to "push" them in a certain direction.

Edit: Oh yeah! I want to be able to spawn a single Fred outside of the Kill Fred mission.

Thats a great idea! So a player steps into a gas station with windows and doors, then suddenly the doors and windows break and the zombies start breaking in. Then you run upstairs and see an old atttic. "Hungerrrr" They all are groaning. "Suck on this!" So the player shoots the zombie in the head and it falls backwards downstairs.... then you climb the ladder and excapr from the window?...well anyways back to real life. ph34r.gif

its alot of work, but its all for new real story based maps.

its up to the devs but i say its a pretty good idea.
