I reckon you should be able to get a remote charge which you might have to use on some missions or something (maybe blow down a door). Or it could be handy to take out a bunch of zombies when your low on ammo.
It might be cool to have a sort of secondary fire, where if your surrounded by zombies and ur about to be turned, you could hold the remote in one hand and the charge in the other and be all postal 2 like "I regret nothing" and then BOOM! Go out with a bang and take like 50 zombies with you. Sick. |

Except that those explosives were just a new model for the ones from Half-Life and they have no other purpose apart from blowing stuff up, and you cant do the suicide thing I suggested (short of standing on the bomb and setting it off, which would be less cool, and entirely pointless.

or if you set the charge to the following at secondary: Shoot a highexplosive shell straight downwards causing something that looks like the guy blew up or something...
