They did help him at start, but after seeing how his DNA and cellural structure makes him a perfect soldier, why not use it and make him a zombie killing machine? no?

The cell door opened, a handful of soldiers came in, "How was your night?" one of them asked whit a sarcastic tone of voice. Phil remained quiet, "Not going to speak eh?" one of the soldiers raised his hand to punch Phil, but Phil stood up, took the soldiers hand and squished, "AHH" he yelped and stepped backwards, "Its now or never" Phil tought, he pushed the rest aside and started running away as fast as he could, he could hear gunshots, but he did not look back.

A siren started screaming, calling every soldier near enough to catch Phil.

Phil arrived to an elevator, he pushed a button that said first floor. After a few seconds the elevator made a *Ping* sound and the door opened. Many soldiers stood there guns pointed at Phil, "I am not going back there!!" Phil yelled, he started running towards the soldiers, but he did not run far, the high pitch voice started screaming in Phil's mind, he collapsed on the floor holding his head, the soldiers lowered their weapons and started walking closer.

"Nnngh!" Phil sluggishly stood up, despite the noise that was cracking his brain, the soldiers raised their guns and pointed at Phil again, Phil stood there, facing tens of soldiers pointing at him, waiting for him to make a move.

"You wont kill me" Phil said, "We dont need you alive, we just need a DNA sample of you, and we can find another host" said a voice, a important looking man stepped from the darkness, "Shoot Him"

Phil's eyes went wide open, "Shit.."

Youd think gunfire is your smallest problem when your on a world filled whit zombies, expect when your own kind turns against you. "Your worse than the zombies!" Phil started running towards them, they opened fire and bullets flied by him, mostly they flied through him.

Phil collapsed, the bullets did their job.

"Get the body and carry it to the lab" all the soldiers leaved expect one who had to carry Phil. Phil was still breathing, alltough weakly. He looked at the soldier whit an empty face, "Still alive? Nothing personal." he said and raised his rifle.

Phil remembered his small knife he had hided in his left shoe from the beginning, "Please.. Let me.. Smoke.. For.. The.. Last.. Time.." Phil said, "I guess" the soldier said, Phil reached for the knife and took it, "This is personal!" Phil said and threw the knife towards the soldier, it hitted his throat, "Gagh!" he collapsed to the floor.

"Heh..Heh..Heh" Phil remembered that he had multiple bullets in him, one in his left leg, one in his chest, and one in his shoulder, so far so bad, but it could be worse.

But what could Phil do? The place is thriving of soldiers, and eventualy theyll find him or he'll die of blood loss.

"Come to think.. about it.... the cell was.. pretty.. nice..."

Phil heard someone coming, "I... Have.. To.. Get.. Up" Phil slowly stood up, too slowly. Two soldiers stood dumbfound looking at Phil and their dead comrade, finaly they raised their rifles and demanded; "Dont move or we shoot!" Phil closed his eyes and made a small smile, "You will shoot me anyway, so whats the point" Phil jumped to the floor and picked up the dead soldier's rifle and pointed at the others, "Traitors! Your as bad as the zombies are!" Phil yelled and fired a burst at them, the soldiers fired a burst at Phil too.

Good news: both soldiers died, Bad news: Phil ate more lead and the gunfire probaply gained the attention of everyone in the building.

Phil started crawling towards the elevator, luckily the elevator was still at there, he opened the door and jumped in, the doors closed. Phil pushed a button labeled *Roof*

The floor of the elevator had a new colour in it, Phil's blood. Phil felt a sting in his shoulder(, he looked it, the skin and flesh started slowly growing back in front of Phil's wery own eyes. "So.. Thats what they ment whit the cells living their own life"

The rest wounds started healing, but becouse of all the blood he losed Phil was weak, his skin was white, he could barely stand and hold the rifle, and aiming was one thing too.

*Ping* said the elevator and the door opened, luckily there was no soldiers at the roof.

The clouds were black and a cold wind blew.

Phil walked to the edge and looked down, "Great.. I bet thats a fall of hundreds of meters, now what?"

Soldiers were going out and going in to the building Phil was on, they were going in mainly, probaply searching Phil.

Phil looked down, he could see a lake near the building. "Hmm.. I might not hit the water, i might die from the impact, or perhaps the water is too cold and ill freeze or drown, yup, thats my only way out." Phil took a deep breath, and jumped off the edge.

Just in a matter of seconds Phil splashed to the cold water.

Phil couldnt move, the impact and the sudden change of his body temperature paralyzed him. The lake was not deep, Phil quickly hitted the bottom of the lake.

Phil snapped and started swimming up.

"Blehh!" Phil yelled as he got up the lake.

Hundreds of soldiers and civilians were staring at Phil, you dont see people jumping off from buildings, atleast not at those days.

"Dont move, stay right where you are" the soldiers said and approached Phil. "Who are you and why on earth for did you jump off the building?" one of the said, Phil sighed in relief, seems that they did not know who he was, yet.

"Err.. I slipped" Phil said. A few soldiers rushed off the building and yelled, "There he is! Get him!"

"Time to.. Run like hell!" Phil started running away from them as fast as he could.

Gunshot.

Pain.

Darkness.

A sniper shot Phil in the stomach, he collapsed right away.

Alex was still wandering, he did not know where he was going but something forced him to walk north. He met other zombies, then more zombies, and more, then there were masses of thousands, millions of zombies walking north.

"Whats this? Am i dead?" Phil was standing in a city, it was burning, he heard screams, crying, the sky was red, the streets were full of blood. Phil started walking forward, he heard distant voices, "Help us" and "It hurts!"
Phil looked at his hands, they were grey, and so was the rest of his body.

He looked at the sky, he saw millions of faces in there, trying to say something.

Phil opened his eyes, "Nooo!! Noo!!" he yelled, the soldiers around him took a few steps back, he jumped up, one hand holding his stomach and the other formed a fist, "You are fools! Killing me does not help you!" his eyes started glowing red, his whole body was shaking, he was enraged, furious.

The soldiers took more steps away from Phil, "What is he?!" they yelled, "Hear me out! Millions of zombies are coming, if we dont get prepare we will die, or worse, become one of them!"

Gunshot, the sniper fired again, a bullet flied through Phil's leg, "NGhh!" Phil did not collapse, he simply could not fall. "Why.. Why are you doing this?! Corrupting yourself, i bet you'll become zombies even before they come here!

The soldiers dropped their guns, they were looking at Phil their mouths opened.

Reality won, Phil collapsed to the ground puking blood out.
