I am a big fan of this game, and it has some great weapons, BUT WHERE IS THE FREAKING COLT .45??¿?¿¿ I think a colt would make this game so much more fun, and it would be the only gun (i think) in the game that chambers a .45 (well accept for the USP, but that gun sucks). Also, i know this request is extravagant, but you would make my day if you added a Thompson

I would like to see a 45. Colt. I like the Usp and Glock 22 but they are like rare pistols.

the USP is no Rare Pistol,available in almost any gun store,least around where I live in New Hampshire(USA) and I havent seen the glock in the game yet? and ive seen all the guns,ive seen the berretas,the Usp thas it for pistols ?

the glock is in the game, just look for it

USP also has a .45 round, and the P225 is in there aswell with the same calibre i thought or else something similar.

No, I Disagree,I wouldent want to loose any of the guns now,except flame thrower,and mini gun,for QUITE OBVIOUS reasons,everything else IS perfectly FINE! I admit it would be a cool gun,but we need better replacements for the Mini and Flamer

flamethrower is hands down the most effective weapon, and I like it. Minigun could get tossed, but the flammer should stay. But we digress, the point of this thread was to try and force a colt .45 on the dev team, it failed, so lets let this thread die...

GLOCK & USP >>>> COLT

don't take away any pistol to replace the colt, its so shitty. The colt/ revolver pistol was only made popular by westerns/dirty harry movies. It's so impratcial its not even funny, which is why it is hardly used in law enforcement today. All I need to say is this:
ME with a USP/Glock vs Zombie:
1) pow pow pow pow pow pow pow pow.... pow pow... click click
2) clip release
3) grab clip
4) insert clip, cock pistol
5) pow pow pow pow..... pow pow <repeat 1-5>

YOU with COLT .45 vs Zombie:
1) POW POW POW POW POW POW click click
2) open chamber
3) jingle, jingle, jingle out shells
4) fish around for more bullets in pocket
5) pick up one bullet load bullet into tiny hole
6) pick up second bullet and load into tiny hole
7) spin chamber
8) pick up third bullet as zombie is inches from you and fumble it out of fear
9) frantically try and shove the chamber back in and fire off the two you managed to get in
10) woops, looks like the chamber you fired was an empty
11) Scream, Pain, Die, do NOT repeat, for you are now dead.

We are talking about a cold .45 as in a semi-automatic, blowback, recoil operated pistol used by the US military for over 60 years, not a Colt revolver.

What he means by colt .45 is a 1911. Why he said colt .45 is most likely because he doesnt know too much about firearms, and just thinks it looks cool. But I say no, don't take out the glock or the usp because they are NOT rare firearms at all. And the usp in BB is actually the 9mm version. And the glocks in game are glock 18s, which also chamber the 9mm bullet... They're not the glock 22s which chamber the .40sw round (which I would perfer honostly :\).

take what I said and apply it to the Smith and Wesson revolver in that other topic over in general.

I happen to own a 1911 and know alot about firearms, i called it a COLT .45 because more people will realize which weapon i am speaking of because more people are familiar with that name.
