Correct me if I am wrong, but if a large, low velocity foam/rubber bullet will cause massive trauma to a person's head, the head of a decomposing zombie should be totally splattered by it. Perhaps in a new map we could have a riot-suppression weapon that would be a one-hit kill to the head, do very little damage to a zombie's body, but if hit in the body would knock it down, making it have to get back up.
Also, assuming that electricity will have the same effect on a zombie's nervous system as on that of a normal person, could we have a taser as a pickup for the melee weapon slot? It would not hurt a zombie but would paralyze it for a second and cause it to fall down, making it have to get back up. On that note, how about a new enemy: zombies that would lie down until you came close, then they would grab/bite you from the ground, and only get up if you ran away. Just some ideas. |

The Tasor idea sounds good. What pistol would you replace it with. And I like the idea of the "Rubber" bullit. These sound like great weapons.

Non leathal weapons just don't seem like they would fit the feel of the game...
Taser just seems unnecesary. The Axe is more than enough and the chainsaw will make it plenty whenever it comes around. Seems like you tossed it in to further the knockdown idea... Knockdown - We don't need it, between hitboxes blocking you as they do now, you are better off killing it with a headshot. New enemy: All that would happen is that people would shoot at zombies on the ground, since zombies 'fade out' when they die. -------------------- BB Maps I've made...

a riot gun in itself would be cool, but my understanding is its just a shotgun with rubber pellets instead of lead ones? since we already have 2 killers shotguns, i'd say its good enough as it is
![]() a tasor, i dont know if it does any damage to a zombie. but it'd have to be a low ROF because tasers just dont have a high ROF. not to mention little ammo because you can only fire the 2 little tags or whatever they are once, before you send a current through the copper wire extending to the gun. personally, i'd just take out my 9mm and kill the zombie right away, with a shot to the head, making sure he is down and stays down. zombies dont have to go to jail. |

I meant in this sort of situation:
An infested teammate chased you around, you blew him away with a sawed-off but holy crap u strafed right into a zombie. Quickly pull out taser (NOT the one that fires but the simple melee one with 2 contact points that deliver the shock) and zap him on ANY part of him, making him fall down, then shoot him in the back of the head so he doesn't get up. I know the axe makes zombies fly back, but really, would it? when a shotgun does not? PLUS, a riot weapon could be a shotgun with rubber pellets, but it could also be a grenade launcher that fires all-purpose canisters: solid rubber, gas (tear gas is useless on a zombie but maybe you could fill it with nerve gas??), explosive, incindeary, etc. THERE is an idea for you. |
