Definetley an M249. It makes more sense, as one person can carry an M249 and a good amount of ammo, whereas an M60 would require one guy for the gun and another for the ammo. The nearest equivalent of the M60 today would be the M240G, 7.62mm machine gun, which is still too big.

Nope, the M60 can be used by a single person. But the problem is that nobody can fire more than 2 shots with an M60 before it flies away from him. That shouldn't be a problem though, since we have the minigun... |

Exaclty my point. All that 7.62 ammo gets heavy, and one guy carries the lot of it, then the other person lays down and fires it. Its a two man machine gun team But everyone loves miniguns! yay miniguns!  [/quote] |

The M249 is also much less prone to jamming than the M60, which is fired from an emplaced position.

  You can fire an M60 standing position. The M60 used is stripped down to be fired like that and you use a smaller belt, its called "The vestal one-man operated SACO M60 Machinegun." You also are trained to fire it differently, it requires a certain technique for recoil management. The US navy trains people to use it in the standing position. --------------------  |

Yes it is possible to fire the M60 in a standing position but like ive said before with the minigun... hwat chances are there for a civilian to have a M60 or a SAW i mean seriosuly?

Very Likely in a zombie invasion! *hits david in head* The army woul of course bring some M60's or M249's to mow some zombies down. Also atleast 1 soldier is going to have an m249 or M60. Not everyone is going to have a rifle and pistol and maybe an M16.

 -------------------- This is what Ive said for the past couple months every time has requested source: BB source is highly unlikely because the mod team (Ironoak) has decided to use the crystal engine to create an rpg, although they have said there is a small chance of going to source but please, for the sake of all mankind, do not request a port and/or create polls, or even useless threads about the porting of BB, because it is most likely not going to happen, thank you for reading.
