The thing i hate about dual weapons apart from the berettas is that you need to use both halves, and have to reload twice. All i want is to be able to use one button and have both of the guns fire at once or one after the other then be able to reload them with one press of the button.

What do you guys think?

If you dislike reloading twice, empty one, reload that one, repeat untill out of ammo then switch to the other and repeat the process.

This is what Ive said for the past couple months every time has requested source: BB source is highly unlikely because the mod team (Ironoak) has decided to use the crystal engine to create an rpg, although they have said there is a small chance of going to source but please, for the sake of all mankind, do not request a port and/or create polls, or even useless threads about the porting of BB, because it is most likely not going to happen, thank you for reading.

Ok, you people got some ideas i will see how they feel in game.

A question, Why is the dual berettas the only dual weapon with 1 ammo display and only need 1 reload?

@Hobo Ninja: I usually do use them but sometimes i don't have a choice and have to use some other dual weapon also i might want something with a bit more kick like dual uzis.

Umm you could make a bind thing like if you press "K" it will do like primary and secondary attack the same key and like "L" and it will set them back to 2 keys...I don't know if you can do that but just a suggestion.

Put this in your config.cfg

Bind "k" "bind mouse1 +attack;+attack2"
Bind "l" "bind mouse1 +attack"

It should work, but since when did HL work when it's the most logical?

wouldnt you need to bind +attack2 back to mouse2?

It would make more sense to do

Bind "k" "bind mouse1 +attack;+attack2"
Bind "l" "bind mouse2 +attack2"

or umm Shit I dunno

You dont need to use k and l...use x and c if you want.....it doesnt really matter what key

I dont think theyll implement this really. Its not so bad - I like having two guns i can fire seperately (though I have to reload gun no1 before I can reload gun no2 for some reason).

Lazy coder wink.gif though Spin has been busy enough with bug fixes, I think...

Here's an idea, Spin, compare the ammo counts in each of the two dual weapons, and have the reload command take effect on whichever one has less ammo, defaulting to the left hand weapon if they are equal. I think this shouldn't be too hard for you Spin biggrin.gif

CODE
if(player -> weapon -> ammo1 > player ->weapon -> ammo2)
    player -> weapon -> ammo2 -> reload
else
    player -> weapon -> ammo1 -> reload


I don't know how the objects are stored/named/designed, but I think Spin will get the idea wink.gif
