Zombies eat living flesh so if it takes too long for a zombie to eat up an entire corpse it will rot and no longer be fresh and so the zombie will abandon it and fetch for fresh meat. Thus leaving the body to mangled and destroyed for anything to reanimate because the blood has coagulated not allowing the virus to enter the circulatory system or the brain.

hppm both sides have thier ups and downs but i mean the zombies would probuilaly eat everything, but i mean yeah whatever

Zombies never eat their fellow undead, since the flesh is rotten, and a probably an instinct tells that rotten flesh isnt good. Blood pools\splatters could be a good substitute for bodies in the maps too.

I like the idea of having dead bodies here and there (one dead body model should approx take as much epoly's as ONE zombie, so it's not that huge of an issue). As long as they're well placed and not over-used it'd be great! Now we just need someone to make and release a bunch of models for this.
Blood splatters would be easy to do. All you need to use is the infodecal, I think. One idea (and I know I'm going to be told that it's been suggested before...) for the dead bodies would be to tweak the zombie spawns. For example, add in an option to have zombies spawn in eating on a corpse before turning around and attacking you. Something that can be done with one ent and can be toggled so it won't cause problems in large areas. -------------------- Still mapping away!! |

Well.. that works too, but without the effect; the zombie would just spawn in and be standing there until you walked by.

I dont think zombies eat like dead zombies (ones that have had their heads blown off), but i realise that would quickly fill up the map.

Sorry to double post but i saw a zombie without a top half walking to a military guy and then the guy went flying and the zombie had no arms to attack funny bug

Yeah and to see a dead body i would go is that a zombie or not spend 1 min trying to see if is a zombie (im dumb) and get attacked from behind

Mitchell i reported this bug in the beta of the zombie legs trying to attack people.
Also i made a topic on the XM8 a while ago which had the point of leaving it w/ dead marines we worked through it and decided it was not the best idea to have. Also we've suggested having dead bodies round the map as spawn points for the weapons, we decided that that too would take up too many model counts or something liek that ![]() -------------------- This is what Ive said for the past couple months every time has requested source: BB source is highly unlikely because the mod team (Ironoak) has decided to use the crystal engine to create an rpg, although they have said there is a small chance of going to source but please, for the sake of all mankind, do not request a port and/or create polls, or even useless threads about the porting of BB, because it is most likely not going to happen, thank you for reading.

Couldnt we just use bodie models from hl1, there is some on bb_birdland a couple of marines ,love that map.
