After playing on an xp-saving server, I hit that magical level - 104.
Now, this is a magical level not for any particular reason, it's just magical because it's the first level where you get a point that you can't use. This is due to the following limits: HP: 25 (Running total: 25) Speed: 34 (Running total: 59) Skill: 44 (Running total: 103) Is there a way for a server admin to raise these limits? |

Yes, each server sets its own point limit.
-------------------- This is what Ive said for the past couple months every time has requested source: BB source is highly unlikely because the mod team (Ironoak) has decided to use the crystal engine to create an rpg, although they have said there is a small chance of going to source but please, for the sake of all mankind, do not request a port and/or create polls, or even useless threads about the porting of BB, because it is most likely not going to happen, thank you for reading.

How come everytime i play on a server (a certain server, not just random ones) i get a lot of skill points, i disconnect, i get back on the same server, and its all gone! i c all these ppl wit over 200 points but the most ive ever gotten was 30! wtf?

The server is not set to store the info on you in its files, so you always keep your points

I checked the dedicated server and listenserver config files, and scoured the cvarlist for anything along those lines. The closest I found was how to set the max level. :/ Can anybody tell me the commands involved, and the files to look in? Edit: Let me rephrase this: I want to run a server where people could put 100 points into skill, 100 points into speed, and 100 points into hp if they so choose. On the FAQ it says something about sv_maxlevel. Perhaps if you try sv_maxlevel skill # or sv_maxlevel speed #. I haven't tried cuz I have no server, but that's the best I can give you.

Well, changing the max level doesn't help the problem, and since there aren't any better suggestions I guess there's no way to change the default values.
Should I make a thread in the suggestions forum about this? |
