Remember the bike raiders in dawn of the dead? Well, why not turn this into a team based deathmatch mode for brainbread?
The survivors (goodies) must guard their base (whcih has been compromised by the raiders already and is filling up with zombies) against the raiders. The survivors must protect certain rooms (supply room, armory, their blockades) while the raiders must steal these items and destroy obstacles to get there. There would be a fred walking round the map for comedy's sake. Or there could be a hunt/kill game mode - marines are deployed into an area to kill everything that moves - including survivors (cant be too careful). The survivors have to escape whilst being hunted by the soldiers in zombie infested territory. Or there could be a rescue mode where one team of players has to rescue another team - open the blocked doors etc. -------------------- Like zombies? read comics? read The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman, from Image

1.} This is an Co-Op mode. Which means that its an cooperative mod. That the players must work together to complete objective.
2.} tdm, will probably not be implemented. Maybe 3.} The hunt/kill mode sounds good. 4.} In an rescue mode, there could be a little problem with one team trying to open doors to rescue the other team. Say that one team is called Team 1. The other Team 2. Say Team 2 is blocked by doors. And Team 1 has to save them, well there could maybe be some Noobs or idiots that won't save Team 2. So that casues an problem. My Version- My version of this mode this, Team 2 spawns by some marines and are pinned down by zombies. Team 2 objective are to hold their position while Team 1 gets to them. Teams 1 objective is to help Team 2 get the hell outta there and cover them while doing so. So, Team 1 comes to Team 2's aid. They cover Team 2 while they excape. Then Team 1 excapes. Anything related to having two different teams working together and spawning seperately is subject to noobs and the like on the server refusing to cooperate which completely destroys any chance of enjoying the gameplay mode.

Who am I? I'm me. I didnt think you needed any requirements to post.
What am I trying to suggest? Well like I said, a player v player mode. Either a competive one where one team defends a base against another (with zombies attacking both) - such as the mall in Dawn of the dead - Bandit mode Or another competitive mode, where team A hunts down team B in a zombie infested area - Elimination mode Or a rescue mode where players spawn in diff areas and have to help each other survive - rescue them from trapped areas etc. Of course, thats not much simpler than what I wroter in the first post. This would be hard to implement without noobs spoiling it, but think! CS needs you to work out what the hell you're supposed to be doing, and it manages. As does DOD and TFC. Alot of people on the servers seem to be too thick to read the manual, I admit (how many times have you had to explain "mouse cursor"???), and alot dont seem to be able to read the helpful notes at the top of the screen and at the start of the map. But co-op can work - give skill points for accomplishing objectives, have people lose points when they fail (or the map end or something if they dont do it in a certain amount of time), have them be able to give each other ammunition instead of just throwing guns - whatever. -------------------- Like zombies? read comics? read The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman, from Image
