I suppose I should answer it myself.

2. Nope, thought about it but never got round to writing anything till I entered the story contest (and got this beta tester tag)
3. Yes I read, mostly sci-fi, horror and fantasy but some crime/non-fiction/dramas every now and again. Sci-fi is my favourite - classics like Starship troopers, War Of the worlds, Day of the triffids - star wars books - a whole bunch of stuff and horror is mostly stephen king as far as I'm concerned. I also read comics - such as The Walking Dead, a class comic that'd make a sublime zombie movie.
4. English.
5. Plausible definitely. I'd watch b-movie, but it doesnt translate very well to written form.
6. A mix of both - action and carnage has its place but characters need to feel more than just made-up 2d props.
7. To spell as well as possible.
8. Grammar - same as spelling, try to make it follow most of the major rules at least.

I posted it here because it was aimed at the people in the storyforum, not the main part of the forums. I figure most of the members arent interested in the fanfiction.

And you spelt Michael Crichton right (I think) I just got to the 2nd book in The Dark Tower series today. Its all a little confusing so far - I have barely any idea what happened before the start of The Gunslinger (the backstory). Oops, this is definitely offtopic...

Questionare filled out in less than 5 minutes.

2. Yup. I write everywhere I can. I wrote six stories for BB when I won that story contest thingy, and you can all read them if TSS ever gets them whre they need to go. I've got some short stories out there, and am working on some novels as well.
3. I read sci-fi, fantasy, horror, mystery, and non-fiction war history.
4. Both. 1337 speak just works better sometimes.
5. There's no such thing as realistic fiction, not in my mind.
6. Both.
7. You have to spell if you want anyone to notice you.
8. As long as it's readable, I tend to judge a story more on content. So I guess I'd have to say the grammar level needs to be high enough so I can tell what the heck you're trying to say.
9. Personally, the thrill for me comes from writing the story. Having people comment only adds flavor to an already tasty bundle. I really don't have an opinion, here.

The bounty hunter wars are one of the best star wars stories, definitely.
