One of our tendents went down to run him off but he was attacked, he had to go to emergency room. Dont know why..just a bite but he had some feverish conditions, doctor says its an infection of some sort...but im sure he'll be ok." *beep*

Day 1 of virul outbreak
As of this morning, April 1, 2004 at 6:45 AM the United States has declared marshal law. The world is in a state of panic due to an infestation of what appear to be zombies. Reports of infestation are coming up all over the world and are reported to be worse in more densely populated areas.

These zombies, originally thought to be only a voodoo myth, are roaming the streets killing and in some cases devouring any non-infected person. Zombies are also known as the walking dead. These creatures have no pulse, very basic motor skills and do not require blood or vital organs to be active. They are to be considered very dangerous and the infection they are carrying, which is known as solanum, is extremely communicable.

Kenneth Castle, head of research at the Fort Romero Emergency Aid Station said, We have very little information about the infection. At this point all we know is that solanum travels through the saliva of an infected person (a zombie) and into the bitten victims bloodstream, causing the victim to have intense fever, then die. At that point the body should be burned immediately or it will reanimate, becoming one of these creatures and infect more people.

Authorities believe that the only way to incapacitate a zombie is to severely damage its brain. Civilians are encouraged to arm themselves with any weapon capable of puncturing a zombies skull. In the state of emergency, civilians will be allowed to protect themselves with any firearms they can obtain.

All non-infected civilians are to report to the nearest military aid station. They are also ordered to keep a white piece of cloth with them at all times so that if military personal should find you, you can wave it, thus proving you are not one of the zombies.

Infected individuals must be killed immediately to preserve safety. If there are no military aid stations in your area you are to board up your windows and doors and wait until help arrives. Helicopters will be travelling the area searching for survivors throughout the day.

Day 2 of virul outbreak
Rumors can be heard everywhere. Sightings have been reported in rural Canada, rice fields in Vietnam and an employee of the General Hospital has gone stark raving mad, claiming witness to the unspeakable. Even the next-door neighbor has suddenly abandoned his home after witnessing the unnatural demise of his dog, which he was unable to talk about.

Finally, the 5 oclock news confirms what everyone seems to already know. The dead are walking among us, right here, right now and they are moving through hometown U.S.A. Turning off the television with a feeling of disbelief, they hear a thunderous thud from the front door, breaking the uncomfortable silence of the night.

Zombies, human corpses infected with the Solanum virus, which reanimates the brain, are everywhere, and according to Max Brooks, author of The Zombie Survival Guide, preparation is the best key to survival in case of a full-blown zombie outbreak. Brooks spoke at the Tivoli Turnhalle on Auraria campus Oct. 27, to inform the general population of this menace.

Organize before they arise, said Brooks, who is a former Saturday Night Live writer and son of filmmaker Mel Brooks.

They dont obey the rules. Theyre coming out in rain, shine or night or day. I dont find anything funny about being killed and eaten by zombies.

Brooks became obsessed with the walking dead problem after a traumatic childhood incident he refuses to speak about, and recommends these key points in an overall survival strategy in case of a wide-spread zombie outbreak.

1) Weapons: Movies and other media have popularized the use of firearms as effective for undead dispensing, yet the drawbacks to their use are numerous, such as reliability and reusability of both the weapon and the limited sources for ammunition. Are you going to use a weapon thats going to come back and bite you on the ass? asked Brooks.
Bladed weapons such as a katana, a Japanese fighting sword, and a machete are ideal choices for both their reliability and stealth. Zombies are attracted to noise and firearms create a lot of noise.

2) Vehicles: Ones first instinct is to gas up the SUV and barrel through the hordes of the walking dead and head for the hills, but Brooks recommends a much simpler method for transportation: a bicycle.

You may say that I cant get to the Rockies on a bike, but I could with practice, Brooks said.

3) Survival mentality, not conquest mentality. Youre not out there to be a hero, Brooks said.

Youre out there to stay alive.

Brooks provided other tips, such as walking briskly, rather than running from oncoming zombies. Zombies are notoriously slow, Brooks said. Dont run from zombies, walk quickly, if you run youll tire yourself out. Its like the tortoise and the hare but the tortoise may eat the hare.

Zombies are mindless, with one purpose: to eat the living. Yet, according to Brooks, this is where their weakness lies.

Are zombies organized? No! Brooks said. We are! Thats our greatest strength. We can organize and this is how we can survive.

The sight of downed black hawk was searched and no bodies were found. This led us to 2 conclusions that this roster was a check list on who to pick up or possibly check list of those already deceased. This list has some importance to it but for what remains unanswered.

I apologize for so many posts but wished to keep it organized. Also some of you may be woundering wtf is all this stuff, these are just things put together to appear as if they are found lists, messages, and news reports put together to asses the situation at hand.

Dude, zombies are not real. As in 28 days later and dawn of the dead he has used photos from actual riots. Like he said.

I always thought one of the best messages zombie movies conveyed was that day-to-day people are the zombies; the dumb consumers, the mindless animals bent on destruction...look at riot footage and it's often hard to tell the people from the monsters.

Pic of roaming zombies - third guy from the left is carrying a tin of paint (or something) guess he wants to redecorate his ruined town. Or maybe its a KFC bucket put to a zombie's use - its finger-eating good!

The news room one's good; reminds me of resident evil. I like the idea of documents retrieved after an outbreak. Is this going to be tied into a story or something?

4th pic is from either dawn of dead original or night of the living dead. The last picture are riot control that happened here in miami like 2 yeas ago.

I reckon its dawn of the dead, one of the brief flashes that happen in the end and start titles.
